Great light weight accent to any top. Lots of texture and can be made in any color.
Directions are so easy.
- Pick an interesting yarn with texture and personality.
- You will need a very soft texture yarn that can be tide on as an accent. See picture!
- Pick a plan type of yarn in a color that is in your first yarn pick mentioned in step one.
- Pick a soft very narrow ribbon in one of the colors you want to standout the most.
- Depending on how long you want the scarf to hand after draped around your neck is the length you cut each piece of yarn and ribbon. I usually start with at least 4 feet.
- Cut all pieces the same length.
- Now start knotting. Keep space between knots about seven inches apart or your ribbon will droop to much.
- After knotting you will need to cut some individual pieces of a soft flowing decorative yarn. Cut them about ten inches long.
- Find the center of your knot scarf and tie on the soft decorative pieces of yarn.
Here is a sample of some yarn I have used.
